History
The club was founded in 1909 and originally played in the Holmfirth and District League. They joined the Huddersfield and District Association Football League in 1913.
The club's most successful period was in the 1960s, when they won the league championship twice and the league cup once.
The club has also had a number of players who have gone on to play professional football, including John Hendrie, who played for Aston Villa and Scotland, and Steve Carney, who played for Huddersfield Town and Bradford City.
Recent seasons

The league is divided into three divisions, with the top division being called the Premier Division. The league champions are promoted to the West Riding County Amateur Football League, while the bottom two teams in each division are relegated.
The league cup is called the Huddersfield and District Challenge Cup. It is the oldest football cup competition in West Yorkshire, having been first played in 1889.
