Grimoldby FC was founded in 1905 and played in local leagues for many years. The club joined the Midland Football League in 1987 and won the league championship in 1990. Grimoldby FC then moved up to the Northern Counties East League, where they played for several years. In 2010, the club joined the East Midlands Counties League, where they currently play.
