Friar Lane Football Club is a local football team that consists of a range of players and will always expand for new players. Some of the players at the Football Club have a great history with the Friar Lane Juniors & Youth Football Club whilst they were growing up. Unfortunatey when the Friar Lane Juniors & Youth team folded there were players without teams so the players went on to create a mens Sunday Football Team to enable the club and players to continue.

Friar Lane Football Club is a Sunday League football team based in Knighton, Leicestershire, England. They currently play in the Alliance League Division Five.

The club was founded in 2014 by a group of players who were left without a team when the Friar Lane Juniors & Youth team folded. The club has since grown to a squad of 22 players.

Friar Lane play their home games at the Knighton Sports Ground. The ground has a capacity of 100 spectators.

The Alliance League

The Alliance League is a football league for amateur teams in Leicestershire and Rutland. The league was founded in 1985 and currently consists of 10 divisions.

The top division of the Alliance League is the Premier Division. The Premier Division is a step 7 league in the English football pyramid.

The bottom division of the Alliance League is Division 10. Division 10 is a step 11 league in the English football pyramid.

The Alliance League is a competitive league with a good standard of football. The league is also well-organized and provides a good environment for players to develop their skills.
