Fighters FC is a Ghanaian football (soccer) club based in Anyima, a suburb of Kumasi. The club was founded in 1970 and currently competes in the Ghana Premier League.
History
Fighters FC was founded in 1970 by a group of young men in Anyima. The club quickly rose through the Ghanaian football ranks and made its debut in the Ghana Premier League in 1975.
Fighters FC has won the Ghana Premier League title once, in 1983. The club has also won the Ghana FA Cup on three occasions, in 1983, 1984, and 2016.
Fighters FC has also competed in the CAF Champions League on several occasions. The club's best performance in the CAF Champions League came in 1984, when they reached the semi-finals.
