History
FC Imphal was founded in 1982 by a group of football enthusiasts in Imphal. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Manipur State League and won the title in 1988. FC Imphal has also won the Manipur State Cup on several occasions.
Recent Performances
FC Imphal has been one of the most successful teams in the Manipur State League in recent years. The team has won the title three times in the last five years (2017, 2018, and 2022). FC Imphal also reached the final of the 2022 I-League 2nd Division, but lost to TRAU FC.
