More about the team
Rob Coombs came on board to help Kenny Wilkins coach and manage part way through the year due to unorganised training sessions and came in and helped the side finish the season winning a league treble including the Junior Cup, the Reserve Cup and the Junior League which led to back to back promotion. Due to how well we did again we were moved up in the club and became Eltham Town Reserves.
however, towards the end of the 2011/12 season results picked up and our main focus became defending our reserve cup trophy. We did just that winning yet another final and adding our fourth piece of domestic silverwear in two years. In 2012/13 we are again starting with new management in the form of Matt Gardiner, Bradley Coombs and Ross Lane who hope to create a brand of football that Barcalona would be proud of. Kyle Thomson/Jason Gardiner/Matt Gardiner our new website editors has warned them it will not work when we still have people like Mr Steve Truman playing.
In 2013/2014 we changed leagues & club and we became FC Eltham first team that plays in the Metropolitan Sunday Football League. The first team are in Division 1 and the reserves are in Division 3.
This is our first season under FC Eltham so everything is new to us. New league and new teams.
We train at Charlton trainning ground every Wednesday at Sparrows Lane at 20:30 to 22:30 we been doing training at Charlton now for good couple of years.
