North East Hampshire Youth League - NEHYL
The North East Hampshire Youth League - NEHYL is a youth football league based in Hampshire, England. The league was founded in 1972 and currently has over 200 teams competing in various age groups.
The NEHYL is affiliated to the Hampshire Football Association and is a member of the South East Counties Football Association. The league's headquarters are located in Farnborough.
The NEHYL is divided into three divisions: Premier Division, Division 1, and Division 2. The Premier Division is the top division and is currently contested by 16 teams. Division 1 is the second tier and is currently contested by 18 teams. Division 2 is the third tier and is currently contested by 16 teams.
The NEHYL season runs from September to May. Each team plays each other team in their division twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division. The bottom two teams in each division are relegated to the next division.
The NEHYL also runs a cup competition, the NEHYL Cup. The NEHYL Cup is open to all teams in the league. The cup competition is played in a knock-out format.
