History
Ettifaq is one of the most successful clubs in Saudi Arabian football, having won the Pro League 7 times, the King Cup 10 times, and the Crown Prince Cup 3 times. The club has also participated in the AFC Champions League on several occasions.
Ettifaq's most successful period was in the 1970s and 1980s, when they won the Pro League 5 times and the King Cup 4 times. The club also reached the final of the AFC Champions League in 1986, but lost to Al Hilal.
Ettifaq has struggled in recent years, but they are currently rebuilding and aiming to return to their former glory.
