Eintracht Frankfurt is a German professional football club based in Frankfurt, Hesse. They play in the Bundesliga, the top tier of German football.

History
Eintracht Frankfurt was founded in 1899 by the merger of two local clubs, Frankfurter Fussball-Club Viktoria von 1899 and Frankfurter Fussball-Club Kickers von 1899.
The club won its first major trophy in 1914, when they won the Südkreis-Liga. They won the league again in 1915 and 1916.
Eintracht Frankfurt reached the final of the German championship in 1932, but they lost to Bayern Munich.
The club won its first Bundesliga title in 1959. They also won the DFB-Pokal in 1964, 1974, 1975, 1981, and 2018.
Eintracht Frankfurt won the UEFA Cup/Europa League in 1979–80 and 2021–22. They also reached the final of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1967 and 1980.
Recent seasons
Eintracht Frankfurt finished seventh in the Bundesliga in 2021–22. They qualified for the Europa League by winning the UEFA Europa League.
