History
Ecclesfield Spartans were originally formed as a Sunday league team in 1972. The club joined the Sheffield and District Junior League in 1975 and have been competing in the league ever since.
In recent years, Ecclesfield Spartans have enjoyed a lot of success. The club has won numerous trophies at both individual and team level. In 2023, the club's under-15s team won the Sheffield and District Junior League Cup.
Facilities
Ecclesfield Spartans play their home games at the Ecclesfield Recreation Ground. The ground has two full-size pitches and one mini-pitch.
