The EAST HULL COMMUNITY FOOTBALL CLUB Academy is a football development program for young players in the East Hull area. The academy offers training and coaching for players aged 5 to 16, and provides a pathway for players to progress to the club's senior teams.
History
The academy was founded in 2005 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The academy has grown steadily over the years, and now has over 200 players enrolled.
The academy has produced a number of talented players who have gone on to play professional football. These include Jordan Archer, who currently plays for Hull City, and Jack Walton, who plays for Grimsby Town.
Structure
The academy is divided into three age groups: Under-12s, Under-14s, and Under-16s. Each age group has a team that competes in the local leagues.
The academy also has a development squad for players who are not yet ready for the first team. The development squad plays friendlies against other academy teams and against local senior teams.
Coaching
The academy is coached by a team of experienced coaches. The coaches are all FA qualified, and have a wealth of experience in developing young players.
The coaches use a variety of training methods to develop the players' skills and fitness. These methods include individual and group training, as well as match-play training.
How to join
Players can join the academy by contacting the club. The club will hold trials for players who are interested in joining the academy.
The club also offers scholarships to players who are talented but who cannot afford to pay the fees.
