Durham City Association Football Club is a football club based in Durham, England. They currently play in the Wearside League Division One, the ninth tier of English football.
History
The club was founded in 1899 as Durham City Athletic Club. They joined the Northern League in 1907 and remained members until 1921, when they were elected to the Football League Third Division North.
The club spent seven seasons in the Football League, with their highest finish being 14th in 1924-25. They were relegated to the Northern League in 1928 and have remained there ever since.
