The club was founded in 2019 by a group of friends who wanted to create a competitive football team in Eldoret. They named the team after the sharks that are found in the nearby Lake Victoria.
The club quickly rose through the ranks of the Kenyan football pyramid, and in 2022 they were promoted to the FKF National Division 2.
