The Daventry Town Youth U12 Lionesses Girls Football Team is a team of girls aged 11 and 12 years old from Daventry, Northamptonshire. They play in the Northamptonshire Women's & Girls Football League (NWGFL).
The team was formed in 2016 by a group of parents who wanted to give their daughters the opportunity to play football. The team has grown rapidly since then and now has over 20 players.
The Lionesses train twice a week and play matches on Sundays. They have a friendly and supportive atmosphere and are always looking for new players.
The team has been very successful in recent years, winning the NWGFL U12 Division 1 title in 2019 and 2020. They have also reached the semi-finals of the NWGFL Cup on two occasions.
