History
COSMOS FK was founded in 1991 by the merger of the clubs Haparanda IF and Haparanda FF. The club's first season was in Division 4 Norrbotten, which they won. COSMOS FK then moved up to Division 3 Norrbotten, where they have played ever since.
In 2012, COSMOS FK reached the final of the Svenska Cupen Norrbotten, but lost to Bodens BK.
