The team was founded in 2013 as part of the Connell Sixth Form College. The team initially competed in the Greater Manchester Schools FA Under 18s County Cup, but they later moved to the ECFA Women's League (Archived).

The team has won the ECFA Women's League (Archived) championship twice, in 2019 and 2020. They have also reached the FA Women's National League Cup final once, in 2019.
