The team was founded in 2010 and currently play their home games at Parc Y Ddwyfor in Dolgellau. They are managed by Gareth Jones and their current captain is Tom Williams.
The team has won the ECFA Women's League (Archived) championship twice, in 2016 and 2018. They have also reached the final of the North Wales Women's Cup on three occasions, but have never won the trophy.
The team's most famous player is probably Ffion Williams, who played for the team from 2010 to 2016. Williams went on to play for the Wales women's national football team and represented her country at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
