History
Classic FC was founded in 2005 by a group of football enthusiasts in Kakamega. The club started out in the lower leagues of Kenyan football and gradually worked its way up to the Kenyan Premier League.
In 2012, Classic FC won the Kenyan National Super League and was promoted to the Kenyan Premier League. The club has since established itself as a top-flight side and has finished in the top half of the table in recent seasons.

Classic FC's home stadium is Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 spectators.
