History
Chunky Bakers were founded in 1972 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. They started out in the Cardiff and District League and quickly rose through the ranks. In 1984, they won promotion to the Welsh League Division One.
In 1992, Chunky Bakers were one of the founding members of the Welsh Premier League. They have been a regular fixture in the top flight ever since, finishing as runners-up in 2001 and 2002.
