Team History
The Christian School Complex football team was founded in 1960 by a group of teachers and students at the Christian School Complex. The team was originally formed to provide a competitive outlet for students interested in football.
The team quickly became one of the most successful youth football teams in Takoradi. In 1965, the team won its first championship, the Takoradi Divisional League. The team has gone on to win the league title several times since then, most recently in 2018 and 2019.
The team has also represented Ghana in the National Youth Football Championship on several occasions. In 2017, the team reached the semi-finals of the tournament.
Current Team
The current Christian School Complex football team is made up of players from the ages of 15 to 19. The team is coached by Emmanuel Aidoo, a former professional footballer who played for several clubs in Ghana and Nigeria.
The team's captain is Emmanuel Mensah, a talented midfielder who has been capped at the youth level for Ghana. Other key players on the team include Daniel Boateng, a striker who has scored over 50 goals for the team in the past two seasons, and Samuel Darko, a defender who is known for his strong tackling ability.
