Central Park Football Club is a semi-professional football club based in Barking and Dagenham, London. The club was founded in 1932 and currently plays in the Isthmian League Premier Division, the eighth tier of English football.
History
Central Park was founded in 1932 and initially played in local amateur leagues. The club joined the Isthmian League in 1963 and has since played at various levels of the league, including a spell in the Premier Division from 1995 to 1997.
The club's most successful period came in the early 2000s, when they won the Isthmian League Division One North in 2001 and the Isthmian League Premier Division in 2002. Central Park also reached the FA Vase final in 2002, but lost to Stourbridge in the final.
The club has since struggled to maintain its previous success, and has spent most of the last decade in the Isthmian League North Division. However, Central Park did win the Isthmian League North Division One in 2016, and were promoted back to the Premier Division.
Stadium
Central Park plays its home games at The Arena, a 3,000-capacity stadium in Dagenham. The stadium was built in 1932 and has been the home of Central Park since the club's foundation.
