CEFOR Cuauhtemoc Blanco was founded in 2019 by former Mexican international Cuauhtémoc Blanco. The team was created to provide a pathway for young footballers in Morelos to develop their skills and reach the professional level. CEFOR Cuauhtemoc Blanco quickly established itself as a force in the Liga TDP, winning the championship in its first season. The team has continued to be successful in recent years, finishing in the top four of the Liga TDP in each of the past three seasons.
