CATS Football Club
CATS Football Club is a Moroccan football club based in Morocco City. They play in the LIGUE SOUSS league, which is the third tier of Moroccan football.
The club was founded in 1970 and has won the LIGUE SOUSS league once, in 2019. They have also reached the Moroccan Cup final twice, in 2017 and 2020.
History
CATS Football Club was founded in 1970 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football club in Morocco City. The club started out playing in the local amateur leagues, but they quickly rose through the ranks and were promoted to the LIGUE SOUSS league in 1980.
The club's first major success came in 1990, when they won the LIGUE SOUSS league for the first time. They have since won the league one more time, in 2019.
CATS Football Club have also had some success in the Moroccan Cup. They reached the final of the cup in 2017 and 2020, but they lost both times.

LIGUE SOUSS football league
The LIGUE SOUSS football league is the third tier of Moroccan football. It is divided into two groups, each with 16 teams. The teams play each other twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams from each group are promoted to the Botola 2 Pro league, while the bottom two teams from each group are relegated to the LIGUE INDEPENDENTE DE FOOTBALL league.
