Carshalton Athletic ladies first team was established in 2005 by current manager Jefferson Curtis. The reserve team were formed last season 09/10.The team was originaly known as Tooting and Mitcham ladies fc until the 2011/2012 season. Since 2005 the team has grown increasingly, enabling it to have both a first and reserve team. The original Tooting team progressed from division 3 of the Greater London womens league in 2005, gaining 4 promotions to be in the London and SE regional premier division.Due to the increase in size, Carshalton now has an additional manager Alan Husband, who is the current manager of the Tooting reserve team. Carshalton also have 2 further team coaches Bryan Edwards and Tyrone Reid.The team currently train twice a week:-Tuesday 7.00pm- 9.00pm at the Archbishop Lanfranc school 3g pitch (contact for details.)-Thursday 7pm-9.00pm At Archbishop Lanfranc school, 3g pitch (contact for details.)Both teams play Sunday matches (normally 2pm Kick off.) History
The team was founded in 2005 by current manager Jefferson Curtis. The reserve team were formed in the 2009-10 season. The team was originally known as Tooting and Mitcham Ladies FC until the 2011-12 season.
The team has been successful in recent years, winning the London and South East Regional Premier Division in 2015. They have also reached the final of the FA Women's Cup twice, in 2016 and 2017.
