Bury FC
Bury Football Club is an English association football club based in Bury, Greater Manchester. They currently play in the Premier Division of the North West Counties League, the ninth tier of the English football pyramid.
History
Bury FC was founded in 1885 and has played at Gigg Lane ever since. They have won the FA Trophy twice, in 1900 and 1903, and the FA Amateur Cup once, in 1909.
The club's most successful period was in the 1990s, when they reached the FA Cup semi-finals in 1995 and the League Cup final in 1997.
Bury FC were expelled from the Football League in August 2019 due to financial problems. However, the club was reformed by fans and started playing again in the North West Counties League in 2023.
