Braithwaite Football Club is an amateur football team based in Braithwaite, a village in the Lake District National Park, England. The club was founded in 1920 and currently plays in Division Two of the James Cropper Westmorland Association Football League.
The club's home ground is Braithwaite Recreation Ground, which has a capacity of around 100 spectators. The club's colours are red and white.
Braithwaite FC has a long and proud history. The club has won the James Cropper Westmorland Association Football League title on three occasions, in 1936, 1958, and 1971. The club has also won the Westmorland Football Association Challenge Cup on four occasions, in 1937, 1958, 1967, and 1971.

The league is named after James Cropper, a local businessman who was a keen supporter of football. The league initially consisted of 10 teams, but has grown over the years to its current size of 20 teams.
The league is divided into two divisions, Division One and Division Two. Division One is the top division, and Division Two is the bottom division. The top two teams in Division One are promoted to Division One at the end of the season, and the bottom two teams in Division One are relegated to Division Two.
The league has been won by a number of different teams over the years, but the most successful team is Kirkby Stephen, who have won the league 16 times. Other successful teams include Windermere, Penrith, and Appleby.
