Bolton Conquerers were formed in 2017 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The club's first season was in the Bolton & District Football League, where they finished as runners-up. In 2018-19, Bolton Conquerers moved up to the North West Counties League Division One, where they finished in fourth place. The club were promoted to the Premier Division at the end of the 2021-22 season.
