Bertie Peacocks is a youth football team based in Coleraine, Northern Ireland. The team is named after Bertie Peacock, a former Northern Ireland international footballer and manager.
History
The team was founded in 1974 by Bertie Peacock himself. Peacock had recently retired from management and wanted to give something back to the local community. The team started out in the Coleraine and District League and quickly rose through the ranks. In 1981, they won the league title and were promoted to the Northern Ireland Junior League.
The team has continued to be successful in recent years. In 2019, they won the Northern Ireland Junior League Cup. They have also reached the final of the Northern Ireland Youth Cup on several occasions.
