Berkeley Town FC was founded in 1902. They played in the Stroud & District Football League until 1998, when they joined the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League.
The club has won the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League Division 1 championship twice, in 2002 and 2017. They have also won the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League Challenge Cup once, in 2016.
