Becarios Club de Fútbol is a grassroots football team based in Córdoba, Spain. The team was founded in 2010 and currently has 16 members. Becarios play in the Córdoba Provincial League, which is the fifth tier of Spanish football.
History
Becarios Club de Fútbol was founded in 2010 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football team for young players in Córdoba. The team started out playing in the local amateur leagues, but quickly rose through the ranks. In 2014, Becarios won promotion to the Córdoba Provincial League, where they have played ever since.
Becarios have a strong youth academy, and many of their players have gone on to play for professional clubs. In 2019, Becarios player Sergio Ruiz signed for Real Betis, and in 2020, player Álvaro López signed for Córdoba CF.
Recent Season
Becarios had a successful season in 2022-23. They finished in third place in the Córdoba Provincial League, qualifying for the promotion playoffs. Becarios lost to CD Pozoblanco in the semifinals, but they still had a great season.
Goals for the Future
Becarios are ambitious club with big goals for the future. They hope to win promotion to the Tercera División in the next few years, and eventually reach the Segunda División. Becarios are also committed to developing young players, and they hope to produce more players who go on to play for professional clubs.
