BD3 United is a voluntary community organisation supporting children and young people in the BD3 area. BD3 United aims to: • Support the achievement and well being of young people in the area; • Develop community cohesion; and • Provide a positive image of the community throughout the region. The club has recently achieved the FA Charter Standard. There are currently 8 teams (including a girl’s team) supported by 20 FA qualified coaches. There have been many successes for the club including the current Under 14s team reaching the Craven League Cup Final in 2008. Several players have had successful trials with local professional clubs are now with their academies. BD3 United is also developing other activities including study support groups in an effort to engage pupils positively in learning activities that will enhance their future economic well- being. Parental involvement is key to our work so the club is keen to involve parents in all aspects of our work. The club is also continually looking to recruit volunteers to help us and maintain the momentum of our work. BD3 United is an inclusive club and welcomes players of all abilities. We also welcome players and supporting adults from all ethnic and religious groups. Young players – if you want to make new friends, get fit and improve your game or simply just enjoy yourself come to BD3 United!
