Bathgate Juniors was founded in 1881 and has a long and rich history. The club has won the East of Scotland League on 11 occasions, the Scottish Junior Cup on 7 occasions, and the Scottish Junior Cup Winners' Cup on 3 occasions.
The club's most successful period was in the 1960s and 1970s, when they won the East of Scotland League on 5 consecutive occasions and the Scottish Junior Cup on 4 consecutive occasions.
The club has also produced a number of professional footballers, including John Collins, who played for Celtic and Scotland, and Derek Adams, who played for Motherwell and Aberdeen.
