The Barrow Island Junior Barrow Island u9s football team is a youth team based in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, England. They play in the Under 9 Development division of the Barrow & District Junior Football League (BDJFL).
History
The team was founded in 2019 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their children with the opportunity to play football in a fun and competitive environment. The team has grown rapidly since then and now has over 20 players.
Recent Season
The team finished the 2021-22 season in 6th place in the Under 9 Development division. They had a number of good results, including a 4-0 win against Walney Island U9 Blues and a 3-3 draw against Barrow Celtic Juniors U9 Tigers.
Current Season
The team is currently in their second season in the Under 9 Development division. They have had a mixed start to the season, with some good wins and some narrow defeats. They are looking to improve on their 6th place finish from last season.
