History
Atletico Trairas has a long and storied history. The club has won the Portuguese Second Division twice, in 1943-44 and 1992-93. They have also reached the semi-finals of the Portuguese Cup on three occasions.
The club's most famous player is probably Jose Torres, who played for Atletico Trairas from 1953 to 1965. Torres was a Portuguese international and played in the 1966 World Cup.
