Ashton Girls Football Team
Ashton Girls is a grassroots football team based in Bristol, England. The team was founded in 2017 and currently competes in the Bristol Girls League U13's Division B.
History
Ashton Girls was founded in 2017 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their daughters with the opportunity to play football. The team started with just a few players, but has since grown to over 15 players.
The team has been very successful in its early years, winning the Bristol Girls League U13's Division B title in 2020. The team has also competed in several national tournaments, including the FA Cup and the County Cup.
Current Season
Ashton Girls are currently in their third season in the Bristol Girls League U13's Division B. The team is currently in second place in the league table, with two games remaining.
The team has been very strong this season, scoring 30 goals and conceding just 5 goals in 12 games. The team's top scorer is Olivia Smith, who has scored 10 goals.
Future Plans
Ashton Girls are ambitious and have plans to move up to the Bristol Girls League U14's Division A next season. The team is also looking to compete in more national tournaments in the future.
