Ashley Football Club was founded in 1999 by a group of parents who wanted to provide opportunities for girls to play football in their local area. The club started with just a few teams, but has grown steadily over the years. Today, they have over 50 players.
The club has won a number of trophies over the years, including the CWGFL League Cup in 2018 and 2020. They have also reached the final of the CWGFL Challenge Cup on several occasions.
