Ashfield Football Club
Ashfield Football Club are a Scottish football club based in the Possilpark area of north Glasgow. The club compete in the West of Scotland League First Division and wear black and white hooped strips.
History
Ashfield were founded in 1886 and are one of the oldest Scottish Junior Football Clubs. They have won the Scottish Junior Cup a record 12 times, as well as the West of Scotland League title on 11 occasions.
The club's home ground is the Stepford Football Centre, which they moved to in December 2022. Their previous home ground was Saracen Park, which they shared with the Glasgow Tigers speedway team.
Ashfield have a long-standing rivalry with Glasgow Perthshire, who are also based in north Glasgow. The two clubs have met in the Scottish Junior Cup final on four occasions, with Ashfield winning three times.
Recent seasons
Ashfield finished third in the West of Scotland League First Division in the 2021-22 season. They are currently in second place in the league, level on points with leaders Renfrew.
