Asha FC was founded in 1995 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The club started out in the Nottingham Alliance League and quickly progressed through the divisions.
In 2010, Asha FC joined the Midland Amateur Alliance. They have since been promoted to the Premier Division, where they currently compete.

Asha FC finished the 2022-23 season in 11th place in the Midland Amateur Alliance Premier Division. They won 8, drew 4, and lost 14 games.
