Arniston YFC is a youth football club based in Gorebridge, Midlothian, Scotland. The club was founded in 1999 and currently has over 300 players from the ages of 2 to 16.
The club's home ground is Goreglen Park, which has two full-size pitches and a synthetic pitch. Arniston YFC also has an astroturf pitch at Arniston Park.
History
Arniston YFC was founded in 1999 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their children with the opportunity to play football in a safe and friendly environment. The club's first season saw them enter teams in the Midlothian Youth Football League.
In the early years, Arniston YFC enjoyed a period of rapid growth, and by 2005 the club had over 100 players. The club also began to compete in national competitions, and in 2007 they won the Scottish Youth Cup at under-11 level.
In recent years, Arniston YFC has continued to grow and develop, and the club now has teams at all age groups from under-6 to under-16. The club also has a girls' section, which was founded in 2010.
