History
Al-Vino was founded in 1925 by a group of Italian immigrants. The club's name is a reference to the wine industry that was once prevalent in the area. Al-Vino quickly became one of the most successful clubs in the region, winning the Liga del Sur championship on several occasions. In 1970, Al-Vino reached the final of the Copa Argentina, the national cup competition, but lost to Club Atlético Huracán.
Recent seasons
Al-Vino has struggled in recent years, having been relegated from the Primera B Nacional, the second division of Argentine football, in 2015. The club has since been playing in the Liga del Sur, where it has finished in mid-table positions in recent seasons.
