History
Aguilas Hormiguitas 2 was founded in 2010 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football team for young people in Monterrey. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Mexican football pyramid and in 2018, they were promoted to the Liga TDP.
In their first season in the Liga TDP, Aguilas Hormiguitas 2 finished in 10th place. The following season, they finished in 6th place, narrowly missing out on promotion to the Liga Premier.
In 2022, Aguilas Hormiguitas 2 are looking to challenge for promotion to the Liga Premier. The team has a strong squad, with a mix of experienced players and young talent.
