The team quickly became successful, winning the Delhi Soccer League championship in their first season. They have since gone on to win the championship several more times, and have also competed in the Indian Federation Cup.
Current Team
The current African Stars team is made up of players from all over Africa. The team's captain is Nigerian striker, Ahmed Musa. Other notable players include Ghanaian midfielder, Thomas Partey, and Cameroonian defender, Joel Matip.
The team is managed by former Nigerian international, Stephen Keshi. Keshi is a highly respected figure in African football, and has led the team to several victories in recent years.
