The Hampshire Girls Youth Football League (HGYL) is the top division for girls' football in Hampshire. It was founded in 1999 and currently has over 100 teams competing in it.
The HGYL is divided into three divisions: Premier, Division 1, and Division 2. The Premier Division is the top division and is the most competitive. Division 1 is the second tier and Division 2 is the third tier.
The HGYL season runs from September to April. The teams play each other twice during the season, once at home and once away. The top teams at the end of the season are promoted to the next division and the bottom teams are relegated to the next division.
