More about the team
WELCOME AND THANK YOU FOR VISITING THE HOME OF AFC BUSHEY AFC BUSHEY are an adult 11 a side football team, who play within the Watford Observer Sunday League (WOSL).
The club was formed in May 2007 and was offically named Association Football Club Bushey (AFC BUSHEY). AFC Bushey were accepted into the Watford Observer Sunday leagues, Starting out in Division 4.They enjoyed a successful first season playing their home games at the notoriously bad Bill Everett Centre pitches.AFC Bushey gained promotion in their first season after finishing 3rd, after a closely fought league season. Promoted to Division 3AFC Bushey then moved their home ground to the Met Police Bushey Sports Club for their second season 2008/09. The Pitches here were by far the best in the league and a great place to play passing football. After a bright start to their second season, AFC's form tailed off, resulting in a final league position of 9th, just enough to keep them in Division 3. A cup run saw AFC Bushey reach the Semi-Final of then IGOE International WSL Junior Cup in the same season. After a dissapointing end to the 08/09 season, a number of changes including new coach and new players were brang in, hugley improving the teamAFC Bushey are now currently in their 3rd season, and pushing well for promotion into Division 2. A good cup run again is also looking likely!
