History
AFC Brinsworth were formed in 2016 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The team started out in the RDSL Division 2 and have since been promoted to the Premier Division.
The team's most successful season was in 2021-22, when they finished as runners-up in the Premier Division.

The RDSL is a member of the Sheffield & District Football Association. The league's top division, the Premier Division, is currently sponsored by AFP.
The RDSL has produced a number of professional footballers, including former Sheffield Wednesday and England international Paul Warhurst.
