AFC Brickfields was an idea originally thought of by current Player Manager Lewis Finch. He had a vision, to create a club consiting of a great group of friends, but with the desire to win and be the best we can be. With a great deal of help from the club Chairman Jason Payne, and a high level of commitment from every one involved, we have managed to get the club up and running and have just recently won our second league match in 2 games.

Our home pitch is PItchcroft Race Course in Worcester, and whilst it isnt the greatest playing surface around, I have no doubt out the players in our squad will still continue to play a very good brand of football.

Our aim/desire for the season ahead is to very much go on and win the division and go on a cup run. All the lads are buzzing for each and every game and we have a real "team ethic" about us with every player continuing to put the team first.

I as Player Manager, am very much looking forward to the rest of the season and hopefully sharing the success to come with a great bunch of lads.

History

AFC Brickfields was founded in 2014 by Lewis Finch and Jason Payne. The team started out in Division 5 of the McDonald's Worcester & District Football League and won the title in their first season. They have since moved up two divisions and are currently competing in Division 3.

In 2016, AFC Brickfields won the Bernard Finnegan Cup, which is a cup competition for teams in the McDonald's Worcester & District Football League.

Current Season

AFC Brickfields are currently unbeaten in the 2022-23 season. They have won 13 games and drawn 5 games, scoring 38 goals and conceding 13 goals.

The team is led by captain Jason Payne and manager Lewis Finch. The squad includes a number of experienced players, as well as some younger players who are looking to develop their skills.
