Abasin Cricket Club Sulemankhel Football (Soccer) Team was founded in 1980 by a group of local enthusiasts. The club's first president was Abasin Khan, a local philanthropist.
The club quickly became one of the top football clubs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They won their first major trophy, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Premier League, in 2018.
