About the Young Lads Premier League
The Young Lads Premier League (YLP) is a youth football league for boys aged 7-11 years old. It was founded in 2005 and is based in the United Kingdom. The league currently has over 100 teams and is divided into four divisions.
The YLP aims to provide a fun and competitive environment for young players to develop their football skills. The league also places a strong emphasis on fair play and sportsmanship.
How the YLP works
The YLP season runs from September to May. Each team plays each other team in their division once, home and away. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the previous division.
The YLP also has a cup competition, which is open to all teams in the league. The cup competition is played in a knockout format, with the winner being crowned YLP Cup champions.
