XLCR Pendle Charity League
The XLCR Pendle Charity League is an amateur football league in the Pendle area of Lancashire, England. It was founded in 1973 and currently has 30 teams competing in 4 divisions.
History
The XLCR Pendle Charity League was founded in 1973 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league was originally called the Pendle Charity League, but it was renamed the XLCR Pendle Charity League in 2017 after XLCR, a local engineering company, became the league's main sponsor.
The league has grown steadily since its inception and currently has 30 teams competing in 4 divisions. The top division is the Premier Division, followed by Division One, Division Two, and Division Three.
Current Season
The current season of the XLCR Pendle Charity League is the 2022-2023 season. The Premier Division is currently being led by Britannia, who have won all 10 of their games so far. In Division One, the leaders are Colne Town, while in Division Two, the leaders are Nelson United. In Division Three, the leaders are Barrowford Town.
