Wycombe League
The Wycombe League is an amateur football league in Buckinghamshire, England. It is affiliated to the Berks & Bucks FA.
History
The Wycombe League was founded in 1920. The original league consisted of 10 teams. The league has grown over the years and now consists of over 100 teams.
The Wycombe League has produced a number of professional footballers, including:
- Wycombe Wanderers players Matt Bloomfield, Paul Hayes, and Gareth Ainsworth
- Aston Villa player Gary Gardner
- Peterborough United player Jack Marriott
Current season
The current season of the Wycombe League is the 2022-23 season. The league is divided into 10 divisions, with each division consisting of 10 teams.
The top team in each division at the end of the season is promoted to the next division. The bottom team in each division is relegated to the next lower division.
